By Joel Poultney (June 6, 2022, 12:43 BST) – Denmark’s biggest lender has said it will miss its own deadline to compensate customers it wrongfully overcharged when collecting debts, saying that the growing scope and complexity of the process was hampering progress.
Danske Bank said on Friday that a second independent review of its debt collection error reimbursement had highlighted several issues that would hamper its ability to compensate all 7,800 customers it said were entitled to compensation on time.
